Welcome!

Little Acorns After School Care is a private Christian after school care in Richmond, B.C. It is based out of my home in east Richmond, close to major road routes to downtown and other areas in Greater Vancouver.

My name is Marian Ng. I am a retired nurse and university reseach assistant. 
My love for children started when I was young because my mother was a kindergarten teacher. I started out working in the Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg and have also volunteered for many years as a Sunday School Teacher.
I have many interests: gardening, playing the piano, singing and listening to music, reading, cooking and baking, traveling and sports. 
My most recent experience was caring for children at an after school program in Richmond. I loved the children, but realized I could not do much more unless I started a program of my own. This inspired me to start my child care program.
I have completed the Family Child Care Course at the Child Care Resource and Referral Centre in Richmond, B.C.
